SAX Announces the Promotion of Three New Partners, Strengthening Leadership and Expanding Expertise

SAX, a top 100 accounting, tax, and advisory firm, proudly announces the promotion of Tiffany Roque, CPA, MST; Stephen Smith, CPA; and Matthew Goldstein, CPA to Partner, effective January 1, 2026. Each earned their promotion through demonstrated leadership, technical excellence, and a consistent commitment to client service, reflecting SAX’s continued growth and investment in the future of the firm.

Tiffany Roque, CPA, MST specializes in international tax planning and compliance for affluent individuals and closely held businesses. Tiffany advises clients on complex cross-border tax matters, including GILTI and Subpart F considerations, and is known for her proactive, solutions-oriented approach to navigating the global tax landscape.

Stephen Smith, CPA specializes in audit, accounting, and advisory services for nonprofit organizations. Stephen brings more than 15 years of experience serving nonprofits and oversees audit engagements from planning through reporting, including Single Audits under Uniform Guidance. He is a trusted advisor to nonprofit leadership teams and boards and plays a key role in mentoring and developing audit professionals across the firm.

Matthew Goldstein, CPA serves clients primarily in the construction, real estate, and consumer and industrial products industries. With nearly a decade at SAX, Matthew advises business owners on audits, reviews, compilations, strategic tax planning, cash flow management, and banking and bonding matters. He is also actively involved in training and mentoring staff, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to professional development and long-term client relationships.
