Lisa Spearman Appointed to Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership Board

We are pleased to share that Lisa Spearman, Private Client Tax Partner at Mercer & Hole, has been appointed to the Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP) Board of Directors.

Lisa’s appointment recognises her long-standing involvement in the Milton Keynes business community and her commitment to supporting the city’s continued development. Through her professional work and wider engagement, she has been an active and dedicated advocate for Milton Keynes as a dynamic and collaborative place to do business for many years.

Speaking about her decision to join the MKBLP Board, Lisa comments:

“As a fan of Milton Keynes, I am keen to support the city in any way possible. The active business community is central to the city’s development, and joining the MKBLP Board felt like the ideal opportunity to contribute.”

MKBLP plays a central role in connecting organisations across the city, and Lisa is particularly aligned with its focus on collaboration, shared learning, and future growth. Speaking about the strength of the local business environment and the opportunities ahead, Lisa added:

“MK businesses work together in a truly collaborative and forward-looking way, and MKBLP plays a vital role in bringing organisations together through networking, shared learning and initiatives such as the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards. With our central location, the city’s position within the Oxford–Cambridge Arc and major investment in the wider area, the opportunities for business growth are myriad. I would like to see MKBLP helping businesses make the most of these opportunities and cementing Milton Keynes as the destination for businesses in the UK.”

Welcoming Lisa to the board, MKBLP Chair Nicholas Mann comments:

“We are thrilled to have Lisa join the Board. Her extensive professional expertise, long-standing commitment to the city, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting the business community will be an enormous asset to MKBLP. We look forward to the insight and energy she will bring as we continue to champion Milton Keynes as a thriving place to live, work and do business.”

Lisa joins the MKBLP Board during an exciting phase of continued investment and momentum for Milton Keynes. We look forward to the positive impact her experience, insight, and enthusiasm for the city will have across the business community in Milton Keynes – a community of which we are so proud to be a longstanding part.
