Burgis & Bullock Congratulates Two More Newly Qualified Accountants

 

burgis-bullock-logoBurgis & Bollock, a Warwickshire firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, is celebrating as another two members of its team have recently become qualified accountants.

Burgis & Bullock, who have a vast range of expertise and experience of providing business, financial and taxation advice, has a fully comprehensive training package in place for its team members.

The newly qualified accountants are Lucy Elliott, 27, who joined B&B in 2011 as a trainee accountant. Prior to joining the firm she obtained a BSc honours degree in Maths, Accounting and Financial Management at Loughborough University. Lucy has now passed the final stages of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) qualifications. Lucy is a member of the corporate and specialist services team based at Burgis & Bullock's Leamington Spa office. Her role focuses primarily on the audit of financial statements for owner managed businesses and group companies but she also specialises in Solicitors Accounts Rules for legal services firms.


Dale Southworth, 22, joined B&B in November 2008 as a trainee accountant to complete the AAT qualification. He has now passed the final stages of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualifications. Dale is also part of the corporate services team based at the firm's Leamington Spa office. As part of his role Dale supports owner managed limited companies with their accounting and taxation compliance requirements. Dale is also encouraging other local young professionals to extend their network of contacts by creating events that will bring young professionals together.
