Mercer & Hole Announce the Promotion of Four Staff to Directors

Top 50 accountancy firm, Mercer & Hole (London, England) have four new Director announcements to mark the start of their new financial year.

 

Firstly, former Trusts Manger, Daniel Bisby, based at the firm's St Albans office, has been promoted to Director of Trustees. Daniel joined Mercer & Hole in 2006 and has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the administration of trusts, as well as completing a secondment to the firm's personal tax department. In particular, Daniel has specialised in UK resident trusts, although he also has experience with trusts resident offshore, charitable trusts and the administration of estates. Daniel passed the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) exams, prior to gaining the Chartered Tax Adviser Qualification and has recently passed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Qualification (STEP).

Suzanne Briggs' many years of private client experience have been rewarded with promotion to Director of Private Clients. London-based Suzanne enjoys providing a holistic, year-round advisory and compliance service to a wide range of clients, including entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, non-doms and executives. Her experience includes guiding clients through planning for UK residence or leaving the UK, inheritance tax, capital gains tax as well as other significant lifetime events such as separation and divorce.

Henry Page has been promoted to Director of Restructuring and Insolvency in recognition of his experience and ability to find the best practical solution when dealing with the complexities of financially distressed businesses. Henry, who is based at the firm's London office, is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner whose experience of all types of restructuring and insolvency work extends to companies, LLPs and other types of UK and foreign entities.

Finally, Iain Muffitt, has been appointed to Director of M&H Financial Planning (MHFP). Iain, who is also based at the firm's London office, is a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Iain has specialised in planning for sports professionals but more recently has taken a proactive role in Court of Protection casework. His promotion to Director comes at an exciting time for MHFP, who have recently been awarded corporate Chartered status.
