October 1st marks an amazing milestone for our firm. Forty years ago, Ron Cohen set into motion his dream of creating an accounting and tax practice that was unique — a firm focused on serving entrepreneurs and grounded in technical excellence, one that would be renowned for its client service. Ron’s charismatic leadership ensured a strong firm that, even with significant growth, has stayed true to its culture.
As with any great adventure, and Ron is always quick to point this out, he didn’t do it alone. The story of the firm’s origin and the core beliefs the founding partners brought to the table and ingrained into the firm over the years is inspiring.
I was honored to participate in a discussion with a few of the many individuals who were there in those early, formative years — Ron, Kerry Gubics, Frank Dixon, Reed McGivney and Rich Bongorno. And I am excited to share a short video of that conversation with all of you.
