TAG Alliances Hosts Spring 2025 International Conference in Boston

From April 30 to May 2, 2025, TAG Alliances welcomed delegates from law, accounting, and strategic partner firms around the world at its 52nd International Conference in the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts. With a theme of "Revolutionary Leaders & Ideas", conference plenary and breakout sessions focused on effective leadership, entrepreneurship, and emerging topics such as Artificial Intelligence and wellness in the workplace. Throughout the event, attendees also had numerous networking opportunities to build relationships and seek opportunities to collaborate.

The conference began with a Welcome Dinner and Reception featuring an introduction by Host Firm and Principal Sponsor, Casner & Edwards, LLP  (Massachusetts, USA - TAGLaw), welcoming attendees to "The City on a Hill".

The first day of sessions opened with a Keynote from leadership expert Garrison Wynn, who inspired attendees with his presentation on "What the Most Influential Leaders Do Differently." Drawing on global research, real-world strategies, and his signature humor, he offered practical tools for succession planning, culture-building, and enhancing engagement across generations. During "The Anatomy of a Successful Referral," attendees explored key strategies for building effective referral relationships, leading into "classic" speed networking, where they forged new connections and set the foundation for future collaboration. Later, "Straight From the Startup’s Mouth" featured candid insights from a panel of startup founders and incubator leaders on how professional services firms can better build trust, navigate fee pressures, and tailor their approach to meet the real-world needs of emerging businesses.

The following day, an "Ethics Family Feud" session offered a lively, competitive format for exploring ethical challenges from a global, multidisciplinary perspective across legal, accounting, and advisory practices. The conference sessions concluded Friday with a Best Practices & Firm Management plenary session, where panelists shared strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and fostering healthier firm cultures. Attendees then participated in a “Walk in the Park” networking activity set in the scenic Boston Public Garden and Boston Common, offering networking opportunities through relaxed conversation and group reflection.

Specialty Group sessions throughout the conference offered attendees meaningful forums to exchange ideas and dive into important topics spanning various professional service areas.
