From May 6-8, 2026, TAG Alliances hosted its Spring 2026 International Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing together members and guests from around the world for several days of educational programming, strategic discussions, and networking opportunities. With a theme of "Making the Impossible Possible" the conference featured inspirational keynote sessions, educational Specialty Group breakouts, and memorable networking events inspired by the energy and ingenuity of Las Vegas.
The conference began with a Welcome Reception and Dinner, where attendees had the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, build new relationships, and hear a welcome from TAG Alliances President & CEO, Richard Attisha and representatives from Host Firm and Principal Sponsor, Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP (Nevada, USA - TAGLaw).
On Thursday morning, attendees heard an inspiring keynote presentation by three-time Olympian Devon Harris. Drawing on the remarkable story of the Jamaican bobsled team, Devon encouraged attendees to challenge limiting assumptions, embrace resilience, and pursue opportunities with creativity and determination. Following the keynote, attendees participated in a Vegas-themed networking activity designed to foster meaningful professional relationships through interactive and engaging conversations. Later that afternoon, the plenary session “High Stakes, Higher Standards: Navigating the Evolution, Regulation, and Security of the Global Gaming Industry” explored the evolving global gaming industry.
On Friday, attendees heard from longtime TAG Alliances member Jamison Firestone of FD Advisory LLP (Russia - TAG-SP) during his powerful plenary session “Rule of Lies: Jamison Firestone’s Wild Ride Through Chaos, Corruption, and Murder in Putin’s Russia.” Jamison shared his extraordinary personal experiences establishing one of Russia’s first independent foreign law firms, the events surrounding the Sergei Magnitsky case, and his subsequent efforts to expose corruption and advocate for justice on an international scale. The session provided attendees with compelling insights into resilience, advocacy, and the global impact professionals can have in challenging circumstances.
The conference sessions concluded with the Firm Best Practices & Innovation Specialty Group plenary session, “Firm Transformation Without Breaking the Firm: It’s Possible,” where firm leaders discussed strategies for adapting to evolving client expectations, implementing new technologies, and managing organizational change while maintaining strong cultures and client service standards.
Specialty Group sessions throughout the conference offered attendees meaningful forums to exchange ideas and dive into important topics spanning various professional service areas. Numerous networking events throughout the conference allowed attendees to build relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration.
