Working From Home and Working From Home Policy

The corona virus has made the Netherlands work at home in mass. Even after the corona virus crisis, it will no longer be possible to imagine life without working from home, and then to a greater or lesser extent. That is why it is good to anticipate this now and to make policy on this within your company.

There are a number of things to consider:

  • do you have a working conditions policy / protocol;
  • does your staff's home workplace meet the health and safety standards;
  • does your staff use equipment at home that can and may only be used for business purposes;
  • what about the security of the (them) ICT systems;
  • how is insurance arranged (cyber security);
  • what about accessibility;
  • how do you actually manage people who work from home a lot;
  • how do you deal with new personnel, what do you offer;
  • how do you deal with the stress factor that all this entails;
  • how do you bind the people who work at home;
  • what compensation are you going to give for working from home and what about tax.

All in all, many things to consider together with your advisor.
