New Rules for Tipped Workers May Add Litigation in Florida

Operators of hotels, restaurants and other hospitality businesses are accustomed to using the “tip credit” in meeting the minimum wage requirements of federal law.

But, on its website, the Florida Restaurant Association expresses worries that new tip credit rules of the U.S. Department of Labor “are confusing and will make restaurants vulnerable to damaging litigation and penalties.” Click here to read entire article.
