The European Commission adopted the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2114, of 13 July 2022, which aims to complement Regulation (EU) 2020/1153 on crowdfunding. The present Regulation sets forth a series of duties to which the providers of crowdfunding services are subject, namely in terms of assessing the suitability and knowledge of prospective non-sophisticated investors (appropriateness and suitability entry tests), in order to mitigate the risk of potential losses to which they are subject.
