On July 18, 2022, ASAE Regulation No. 656/2022 (“Regulation”) was published, approving, within the scope of measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, the Regulation for the Registration of Service Providers to Companies, to Other Legal Entities or to Collective Interest Centers without Legal Entity with the Authority for Economic and Food Safety (ASAE).

This Regulation sets out the elements subject to the said registration, pertaining to service providers to companies, other legal entities or collective interest centers without legal personality referred to in Article 112 of Law No. 83/2017 of 18 August, as well as the respective obligations of updating the register and of the terms necessary for its operation.

The Regulation enters into force within 90 days of the date of its publication.
