Restrictive Measures Against Russia - No Re-export Clause

A notice to economic operators was published by the Tax Authority on 19 March 2024.

From 20 March, economic operators exporting goods or technology listed in Annexes XI, XX and XXXV, high-priority common articles listed in Annex XL, all of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 of 31 July, or arms and munitions listed in Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 258/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March, must include a clause in their contracts prohibiting re-export to Russia.

Contracts celebrated before 19 December will only have to include this non-re-export clause after 20 December 2024.

Exports to the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Norway are not subject to the above obligation.
