Alain Fortier has more than thirty years of experience in assurance and recently became the President of Mallette, the 4th largest accounting firm in Quebec. He has made his name with cooperatives, a field in which he has taken a keen interest from the outset of his career, enabling him to develop cutting-edge expertise that quickly established him as a benchmark of the field in Quebec and internationally. Alain works with clients across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, services, construction, venture capital, food processing, real estate, wholesale, and retail. A trusted advisor, he supports businesses in their strategic development and growth.

Highly committed to his community, he is Treasurer of the Fondation Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis and of Le Diamant, Director of the Fondation Forces Avenir and President of the Fondation pour l’éducation à la coopération et la mutualité. His recent appointment to the presidency of Mallette represents a major challenge, and he is already working hard to put in place a structure that will enable the organization to continue to grow and raise its overall profile.
