Matt Federle, CPA, has more than 19 years of public accounting and consulting experience in both the Dallas and Fort Worth markets. His experience and emphasis includes leading assurance and consulting services for public, private and private equity-funded companies in upstream and midstream oil and gas, property and casualty insurance, oilfield service, employee benefit plans, and technology industries. Additionally, Matt has significant experience advising on financial reporting and technical accounting matters for clients ranging from start-up companies to companies with annual revenues up to $500 million. He has detailed knowledge and experience with financial accounting matters including business combinations and purchase accounting, asset and goodwill impairments, equity transactions, and SEC disclosure and reporting requirements.
Matt is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies and the Dallas Young Professionals in Energy. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Trinity University and a master’s degree in accounting and information management from the University of Texas at Dallas.
