Celia advises on contentious and non-contentious IP, including trade marks, passing off and copyright. She also supports clients on wider issues including commercial contracts, licensing, grants, governance and specialist sector advice in relation to, for example, acquisitions, provenance, cultural property and museum accreditation.
Having worked in Europe, Celia has a strong international network and longstanding experience of cross-border work. She is also able to draw on her in-house experience to provide clear, pragmatic advice tailored to client needs. She is active in UK Intellectual Property and Art Law circles through her Committee membership of the Competition Law Association and ongoing engagement with PAIAM, the Association of Art Lawyers and others. She has contributed to Masters programmes at Queen Mary University London and provided board level support to industry groups, arts organisations and heritage institutions at a national level.
