Batalla Salto Luna Promotes Two Female Partners

Costa Rica’s Batalla Salto Luna has promoted tax lawyers Anayansi Mora and Cristina Sansonetti as partners.

Mora, who has been with the firm for over nine years, focuses her practice on tax litigation and has represented clients in the most important concession projects in Costa Rica. Her promotion follows a greater increase in tax litigation.

Sansonetti’s promotion is also driven by the growth in transactional work. A veteran of ten years at the firm, she leads Batalla Salto Luna’s Central American Desk and specializes in multi-jurisdictional tax matters for M&A transactions and restructuring processes.

“We are delighted to announce Cris and Ana’s promotions. Over the last few years, they have shown a great capacity for growing our business and ensuring excellent service for our clients, said Mariano Batalla, Managing Partner. “It is a testament to their talent, legal expertise and their outstanding contribution and commitment to our firm’s purpose,” he added. “We recognize that our people are at the heart of our success and these promotions reflect our commitment to nurturing and rewarding the diverse talent we hold within the firm,” Batalla added.

With the appointment of Mora and Sansonetti, Batalla Salto Luna’s partnership grows to 10.

Batalla Salto Luna is a leading professional service firm recognized for its work in business law, tax law, dispute resolution, public law and international trade. It is the firm of choice for its clients’ most significant opportunities and most critical disputes in Costa Rica and Central America.
