As a partner at Fuller Landau, Gary leads the firm's Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency practice. He is a seasoned financial advisor with over 30 years’ experience in the financial advisory services arena, and a client roster that includes several major Canadian financial institutions in addition to lenders/investors, law firms, and other stakeholders. Gary’s mandates have included assessing financial viability and operational repositioning plans, as well as monitoring and realization activities of businesses across a range of industries. He serves regularly as a Court Officer in insolvency proceedings and has acted as a Court-Appointed Inspector, Interim Manager, and Monitor in matters involving litigation and shareholder disputes.
Gary takes great pride in providing timely, creative, and pragmatic solutions and working with all stakeholders to build stability and reduce the stress associated with businesses in financial distress. Clients rely on his expert advice to guide them through financial and operating crises, and value his unique ability to instill a sense of calm during chaotic situations.
Gary is a past Director of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and has served as advisor to several boards of directors regarding corporate governance.
