His experience includes consultancy, transactions, regulations, compliance audits, environmental viability of projects, implementation and appellate litigation. Raúl has been ranked as a leading lawyer in his field by Chambers & Partners.
He graduated in law from the University of Costa Rica (1997) (Universidad de Costa Rica) and a Master of Environmental Law EHU (2004) supplementing their studies at the University of Colorado and Vermont Law School. Today it is a MSc. candidate in Natural Resources Management, with specialization in Environmental Management. He has been professor of waste management in the ITCR - FUNDATEC - FOMUDE.
